Here's
a review from John Kooistra, travel writer for Best Places Alaska:
Hillcrest
B&B
Three stars (out of four possible)
Mile 2.2
Nistler Rd, Delta Junction
907-895-6223
Good Value
Hillcrest
B&B offers out-of-town accommodations on 4 1/2 acres of grass
and flowers with a view of the Alaska Range. The four rooms with shared
baths (one is handicap equipped and wheel chair accessible) are
immaculate, as is the spacious house that offers large living rooms on
both levels, along with a separate downstairs kitchen.
The
proprietors, Lonnie and John Miller, are lifelong Alaskans still
enjoying the Alaskan experience, and you can share in that experience
by sitting down to one of Lonnie's
everything-but-the-kitchen-sink breakfasts of
berry laden baking, game sausage, or whatever else you can think of.
You can also arrange meals other than breakfast. Lonnie Miller is as
user friendly and genuine as they come.
MasterCard,
Visa, local checks accepted.
Directions:
Take Nistler Road east out of downtown Delta
Jct. 2.2 miles to Hillcrest B&B sign on right.
Turn right. First house on left.

Somewhere over the rainbow in Alaska; view from the deck on a spring morning. | Sit out on the back deck and watch the colors of the sunset unfold. Spectacular! |
